John Young's professional passion lies in real estate. He began his career in homebuilding in 1999 with Ryan Homes/NVR, where he dedicated nearly 19 years to various operational roles. In December 2017, John transitioned to Keller Williams Realty Dulles, taking on the role of Market Center Team Leader/ CEO. There, he thrived in coaching and mentoring agents, helping them reach their full potential through his motivational leadership.

Under John's guidance, the Keller Williams Dulles Market Center experienced significant growth in both agent count and market share, particularly within the 20165 zip code. His leadership contributed to the brokerage being recognized with the Best of Potomac Falls Award for Real Estate Agency in both 2019 and 2020. Additionally, John was honored as one of the Top 100 People in Real Estate Magazine in 2020.

In December 2020, John made the difficult decision to leave Keller Williams to join Lennar, a national homebuilder, as an Area Sales Manager—a role he held through the fall of 2024. He then joined The Christopher Companies in October 2024 as Vice President of Sales. Shortly thereafter, John decided the time was right to pursue his long-held ambition of becoming a real estate agent.
